Exploring Technology from the Perspective of a Visually Impaired Individual: An Interview with Przemek Kielar
Do you remember the last time you were on a beach and someone called or texted you? You wanted to check it, but the sun was shining so hard that you couldn’t see anything. You squinted your eyes, covered yourself with something and then finally after a great deal of effort you were able to read it. That is neither the most comfortable nor the most optimal way of using your smartphone. The thing is that a lot of people have to deal with much worse obstacles on an everyday basis when it comes to using technology. To get a better understanding and insight into the lives of people who are visually impaired, we talked to Przemek, a man with vision impairment, and asked him how he’s using the technology.
