Magebutton is an original Snowdog innovation, inspired by the Internet of Things and our desire to enhance the shopping experience for frequently purchased and consumable goods with omnichannel commerce.
The problem
Ordering and re-ordering items we regularly use shouldn’t be complicated, especially when we’ve discovered products we love and want to reorder over and over again. But having to re-enter websites and create orders, or remembering to pick up items at the supermarket again and again can become tedious and another roadblock to purchasing. Magebutton was built to solve this problem by limiting the ordering process to one click of a button.
Our solution: Magebutton
We have come a long way since preparing the initial Magebutton concept to the present day. Both the design and the concept have evolved and we are now ready to present a brushed-up version of the physical button in two colours accompanied by a smartphone iOS app.
New feature: Dual mode
For convenience, customers can choose between a Virtual and Physical Magebutton or combine both. While physical Magebutton is a perfect reminder of the shopping when you place it on the coffee machine, virtual Magebutton resides in your pocket and goes everywhere with you.
For example, if you are making a cup of coffee and remember that you need to restock you can push your nearby physical Magebutton. Or, if you have just left the supermarket forgetting to stock up on coffee, you can re-order at your convenience through the app. Thanks to the possibility of both physical and virtual buttons, order anywhere, anytime.
How does it work?
Whether you have a virtual Magebutton, physical Magebutton or both, the process is simple:
- Receive a physical button or online access to virtual buttons from the store.
- Configure the button in the app.
- Configure order details in the online store.
- Set up a shopping list.
- Press a button.
- Your order is on the way!
You can edit the shopping list anytime you want, therefore a change doesn’t require a purchase of new Magebutton. It is flexible, easy and fast.
