DevOps Engineer

We are a software house with roots in open source, working with clients primarily in the commerce industry but with strong ties to the start-up community. We mainly offer boutique solutions, providing our clients with more than just code. We focus on long-term collaborations and high-quality, sustainable solutions, not just delivering on contracts.

For years, we have been cooperating with leading commerce brands, working on both online and offline experiences, developing online stores, mobile applications, software for kiosk tablets in showrooms or humanoid robots and other IoT solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Installing, configuring and managing servers and services
  • Analysis and support, solving problems and resolving incidents with Magento 1 & Magento 2
  • Developing systems and supporting developer teams and project managers
  • Supporting users with services configuration on company equipment (MacOS)
  • Monitoring environments
  • Ensuring high availability of production systems
  • Preparing systems for automatic backups
  • Working with CI/CD pipelines

Apply if you can boast about your:

  • Solid analytical thinking skills and nerves of steel :)
  • Experience in Linux administration (with emphasis on Debian/Ubuntu)
  • Experience in installation and configuration (primarily): NGINX, PHP & PHP-FPM (7.X), MySQL, Redis, Varnish, Zabbix, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Postfix
  • Configuration skills optimizing for high web traffic
  • Writing bash scripts
  • Practical knowledge of Git and SQL
  • Ability to prepare complete and easy-to-understand documentation
  • Professional attitude to assigned tasks and responsible use of superpowers
  • English language on the conversational level (enough for reading documentation communication)

Even better if you also have:

  • Knowledge of Magento 1 & Magento 2 from the server side
  • Programming skills (PHP, Perl, Python)
  • Knowledge of SE Linux (CentOS, Red Hat)
  • Knowledge of Apache (2.2, 2.4)
  • Experience with AWS
  • Knowledge of Ansible
  • Basic Docker experience
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment
