QA Engineer

We are a software house with roots in open source, working with clients primarily in the commerce industry but with strong ties to the start-up community. We mainly offer boutique solutions, providing our clients with more than just code. We focus on long-term collaborations and high-quality, sustainable solutions, not just delivering on contracts.

For years, we have been cooperating with leading commerce brands, working on both online and offline experiences, developing online stores, mobile applications, software for kiosk tablets in showrooms or humanoid robots and other IoT solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintaining high quality of eCommerce websites and mobile native applications
  • Diagnosing defects and tracking them from discovery to resolution
  • Estimating, prioritizing, and planning quality testing activities
  • Creating test cases for testing web and mobile applications
  • Performing manual testing when needed to verify the functionality of a product
  • Creating automated testing and maintaining its efficiency

Apply if you can boast about your:

  • Experience with at least one high-level automated testing framework such as Cypress (preferred), Appium, Selenium, Robot Framework, etc.
  • Understanding of existing QA best practices and methodologies
  • Experience with web and mobile (iOS/Android) applications
  • Experience in writing test plans
  • 2-3 years of experience as a QA engineer

AND

  • A high level of self organization, independence and confidence
  • Attention to detail and precision
  • Can-do attitude
  • Passion for solving problems, improving things, and advocating for quality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Polish and English

Even better if you have:

  • Familiarity with the entire software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Integration, Regression, Functional Performance, Load, User Acceptance)
  • Experience in Continuous Integration tools (e.g. GitLab CI)
  • ISTQB Certification
  • Basic knowledge of test automation with Cypress
  • Basic knowledge about Accessibility
