Hi there! We're looking for a proactive, people-oriented Junior IT Recruiter to join our awesome team. At Snowdog, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end recruitment, ensuring a great candidate experience at every step of it and working on EB strategies and activities together with our in-house recruiter, head of people and marketing team.
About our company
We are Snowdog: we believe in ethical business, prioritizing people and honesty over profits, combining our work with a solid portion of fun, and being fully transparent with our clients and team. Since 2006 we have been creating ground-breaking solutions for leading commerce brands - online, offline and everything in between.
Snowdog gives a lot of space for flexibility, ideas and growth - we don't have a procedure for every little thing, so often it will be up to you to organize a process from scratch or come up with a new solution.
Our recruitment efforts reflect our organic growth: we don't set any goals like "doubling in size by the end of the year", and put a big emphasis on hiring the right people rather than just filling in positions. We understand that sometimes finding a good specialist takes a while and don't compromise our quality and ethics standards by turning to reckless headhunting. :) If you also believe in individual approach to candidates, value honesty and feel good in non-corporate environments - we might be the right team for you!
What you'll be doing:
- Growing our team by finding talented specialists, who don't only possess the right technical skills, but are also a great culture fit
- Leading end-to-end recruitment processes, closely cooperating with hiring managers and other team members involved in different stages of recruitment
- Taking care of our candidates and ensuring a great candidate experience at every step of the process
- Closely cooperating with our in-house recruiter, head of people and marketing team on building and implementing the EB strategy
- Proactively coming up with ideas on how to improve our recruitment efforts and taking ownership of their implementation
Apply if you can boast about your:
- First steps in recruitment (ideally around 1 year of experience) and understanding of the IT talent market
- Understanding of the importance of great candidate experience, the value of constructive feedback and the equality of the interviewer and interviewee
- Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and an ability to build close relationships with your team and candidates
- Understanding of different channels for promoting open positions (job boards, social media, etc.)
- Good copywriting skills
- Proactivity and ownership: you aren't afraid to share your own ideas, implement them and listen to feedback
- Strong team-player skills combined with the ability to work independently as well
- Good organizational skills
- Willingness to learn (individually and from others) and grow in your role
- Fluent Polish and English (at least one of the languages at the C1+ level, the other one can be B2+)
Even better if you also have:
- Previous experience of working in an IT company
- Experience writing job ads and cooperating with different job boards
- Experience in EB and passion for it
- Understanding of the importance of social media, work-related experience with different SM channels (especially LinkedIn) and communication
- Understanding of different types of work contracts and their specifics
What we offer:
- Fully flexible working time - the only limit is common sense
- Possibility of remote work - without additional explanations (and not only during the pandemic)
- UoP / B2B / UZ - whatever works best for you
- Paid days off
